Founderbuzz’ Scott Olson asks our founders, Alex and Abhi, about their ideas and the Fracture product. Notice that Rosie the robot hangs out at the interview as well.

Here at Fracture, we’re always excited to work on new projects that utilize Fractures in unique ways. Our just-finished undertaking with UF’s college of Dentistry was a perfect example of Fracture broadening it’s horizons. We were recently contacted by Tammy Winkler at the UF College of Dentistry to see if we’d be interested in helping the college decorate the walls of their newly remodeled administrative wing.
You know the standard Fracture sizes (8”, 10”, 12”, 14”, and 18”), but did you also know that we can create custom sized Fractures as well!? Our custom department can make prints from as small as 4x4 inches (known as the Fracture Mini), to as large as 32x40 inches, and practically any rectangle or square in between.
Now that we’ve blown the door of possibilities wide open, here are some creative ideas to get you started!
THE ‘TYCHS
You’ve seen them before: a single image broken up into 2, 3, 4 or more panels of equal sizes. Well we call them “The ‘Tych’s” (pronounced “ticks”), and the styles go like this:
diptychs … 2 panels
triptychs … 3 panels
tetraptych … 4 panels
pentaptych … 5 panels
We can help you break up your image and create your very own ‘Tych, and you can be cool too.

We’ve compiled a list of resources that can help you get more out of your photos. From websites and online services, to apps that help you shoot better pics on your phone, we hope these tools help you take good photos and make them great.

Yes I know the title is borrowed from the David Kirkpatrick book The Facebook Effect, BUT I chose that title for good reason.
Pinterest is the hottest company on the internet right now, rising to fame over the past few months at record pace. It’s been hailed by Time Magazine, used by the folks at The Wall Street Journal, and covered incessantly by pretty much every tech blog out there. Its stunningly fast growth has been marveled over, and as an inevitable result of all of this coverage, copycats have risen all over the place (I’m talking about you Pinspire!).
For today’s blog post, I wanted to give you all some sources of inspiration for wall decor ideas. Now even though I am a male, I still like to flex my decorative muscles now and then. However I admittedly don’t scour the net for ideas to beautify my walls, so I decided to reach out and enlist the help of one of our more creative and decorative Fracture fans to help me out (shout out to our friends at Lauren McKinsey), and we came up with a few websites that have some great wall decor ideas.
