What’s the gig?

The Marketing Optimization Specialist works as a member of the marketing team to improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts across all the company’s media channels including TV, Social Media, Search, and Display across all company assets which include blogs, landing pages, emails, social media posts, and the customer journey. This position also collaborates with the marketing team, customer service team, and development teams to assist in the ideation and execution of split testing and marketing optimization projects.

Reports to: Director of Performance Marketing

  • Embody the values of the Fracture brand through a commitment to the ethical and sustainable use of environmental resources in and out of the workplace.
  • Create and manage marketing optimization and website testing under the Director of Performance Optimization.  
  • Create and test customer acquisition strategies across multiple channels including Paid Search, Facebook, Instagram, email, etc. 
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to test and optimize the entire customer journey.
  • Hit testing frequency, documentation, and KPI goals including CAC, LTV, and repeat order rates.
  • Acquisition of testing ideas from company divisions and the creation of testing plans to be presented to stakeholders.  
  • Work with the Director of Performance Optimization to identify the best marketing mix and marketing spend to hit monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals. 
  • Keep track of emerging trends, technology, and/or opportunities for new traffic sources or improvements to existing traffic sources. 
  • ~10% of travel may be necessary to support company sponsored events, functions, and conferences. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department, business, and organization and as communicated by management.


  • Highschool Degree
  • 5+ Years Testing and Optimization Experience.
  • 5+ yrs Google Analytics experience.
  • 5+ yrs Google Optimize or Similar Testing Tool Experience
  • 5+ years in a company or agency running split testing and optimization campaigns across multiple channels of traffic including paid search, organic search, social, and email.
  • Proven track record testing on major website platforms such as WordPress, Woocommerc, Shopify, and Magento.
  • Proven track record with examples of landing page optimization, order process optimization, email optimization, and offer testing. 
  • Sample test plans and test documentation. 
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication, business professional, interpersonal and organizational skills; including an excellent command of the English language.
  • Excellent work ethic with a sense of initiative, urgency, attention to detail, organization and time management/multi-tasking skills to deliver tasks on time.; comfortable in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acts as project manager for special internal projects; must be a self-motivated and high level of self-accountability to deliver in the role on time and with quality.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization and time management/multi-tasking skills to deliver tasks on time; comfortable in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage, collaborate and deliver multiple projects and deadlines within and across teams.
  • Have a learners mindset and a desire to constantly learn more and sharpen existing skills; continuous professional development.
  • Exhibit a self-starter attitude, sense of initiative, self-motivation with a positive attitude.

Preferred but not required:

  • 2+ Years Tableau experience.
  • 1+ Years Optimizely experience.
  • Google Analytics Certified.
  • Google Adwords Certified.
  • certifications.
  • D2C Ecommerce experience.
  • Experience testing with D2C e-commerce brands.
  • Photoshop (or similar) skills.
  • Js and Php experience.
  • Mysql, SQL, or any relevant database query/coding experience.
