Happy to have friend of Fracture (and fantastic photographer) Anna Mallam to show off the crazy beauty to be found in Austin, Texas. Enjoy! – Drew

Hi there! I’m Anna, an urban and landscape photographer from Austin, TX. I’ve been exploring Austin since I moved here ten years ago, and as the fastest-growing city in the United States, it has no shortage of beautiful photography spots.

Here I’ve put together a selection of the best places to capture the city, including iconic art, architecture, and cityscapes. From many of these spots you can take in the new urban growth, but also the essence of what makes Austin so special. Most can be reached on foot from Austin’s downtown, and the city is a great place to take a photo walk.

Further afield, I also recommend checking out South Congress (SoCo) and South Lamar, both in south Austin, and along Burnet Road in north Austin for some awesome street photography.

I hope you enjoy exploring Austin!

Austin is the perfect city to explore with your camera, and many of the most photographed spots are accessible by foot from downtown. Take in some of the iconic art, architecture, and cityscapes that make Austin a great place to be.
