I’ve been to New York almost half a dozen times. Always upstate though. I still haven’t made it to the City. The photos you’re about to see are making it hard to wait any longer.

For the last Fracture Explores piece of the year we picked the city of dreams. Our photographer and friend Sam Horine shares just a few of the incredible views NYC has to offer, and pro tips on capturing them yourself.

New York is one of those special places that I find myself continually drawn to. Even after living there for over a decade, I can go out shooting, make a few random turns and find myself somewhere I’ve never been before. Couple that with an incredibly diverse population of true characters and you easily have one of my favorite cities to live, eat, work and explore.

Wow. I really have to get to NYC soon to see these beautiful views in person. And now, thanks to you Sam, I have a whole list of places to visit. Thanks for sharing.
