Helpful how-to video with a cute cat included at no charge

We didn’t make a big announcement about it but, at the beginning of this year, we released a major overhaul to our photo editor.

Now that the hustle and bustle have calmed a bit, we wanted to take another look at what the new photo editor can do, and how easy it is to use.

To do that, we made this little video of Kelly from our marketing team using our new photo editor to prepare her photo to be printed on glass.

Hi, my name is Kelly and I work at Fracture. Today I’m going to show you how to use our photo editor. I’ve got a picture of my cat, Chicken, that I just took and I want to order a print of it, so I’m going to show you how.

First, you’re going to click on, “Upload a photo.” Then you’re going to select the photo that you want and upload it.

Now, this picture needs just a little bit more work before I’m going to be happy with it, so I’m going to click, “Edit photo.”

My photo is already a square, so you can see that here, but you also have the option to switch to portrait or landscape mode. I’m just going to crop my photo so that Chicken’s face is more in the center.

There, she looks so cute. I like that, so I’m going to hit, “Save changes.” Oh, she’s so adorable.

On this page you can hit “transform” and go back to where we were before where you can crop and that sort of thing, or you can go over to “adjust”, and that’s where you can adjust the levels in the photo. Right here you can add a filter to the photo. I think I’m going to add a filter. Just click on “Filters,” and we’ve got a lot of options in here. This one’s called, “Food,” which seems appropriate since her name is Chicken, and it actually looks great.

So I’m going to go ahead and stick with that one, and hit, “Save changes.” Now, I think my photo is looking great, so I’m going to hit, “Done editing.”

And then we’re back to this page where you can choose which size Fracture print you’d like. I think I’m going to go with medium. And you can just go and hit, “Add to cart.”

And you’re all good to go. I hope that helped you understand a little bit more about our photo editor.
