100,000 is a Gigantic Number: Our CEO on Being Grateful

A couple of weeks ago, something amazing happened at Fracture. We received our one hundred thousandth order. 100,000 orders. It’s certainly a landmark in the history of our company, and as such, our CEO Abhi Lokesh decided to write a company-wide email to commemorate the occasion. This being an internal email, it’s clearly directed toward the team, but this sentiment of gratitude is one we feel just as strongly toward our amazing customers who helped us get to this point. …

An Open Letter to New Dads

A wonderful letter to Dads, by our CMO Herb Jones. Dear Dads, We all have roles… I know I have many of them. CMO, dad, husband, friend etc. When I first met with the co-founders at Fracture and we talked about me joining the team, I made one thing abundantly clear: I’m first and foremost a father to four amazing little girls. I explained that everyday from 5:30-8:30pm was “daddy time” and if they could work around that, then we’d …

A Fracture Fan Journeys to the Amazon Rainforest

To say our customer Palmer’s photographs blew us away is an understatement. Palmer traveled to the Amazon Rainforest in Para, Brazil after being hired to capture the story of the rainforest and the indigenous people who protect it. In order to complete the job, Palmer spent several weeks in the rainforest with camera gear powered by portable solar panels. He is now displaying his Fractures in his studio to serve as a reminder of his memorable trip which has influenced him …

Celebrating Life and a Mother’s Love

The Story Behind the Fracture  To Jennie, this photo is more than just celebrating the love between two siblings. It’s about the celebration of overcoming fertility issues. She described her daughter Mallory’s arrival as “long awaited.” Like any …

The Photo that Makes Kelly Smile and Think About Family

Fracture is lucky to have Kelly Logan as a photography intern this semester. Whether she is photographing our products or showing us the photography work she does outside of Fracture, Kelly never fails to amaze us with her skills. She recently placed a Fracture order and we would love to share more about the story behind her photo. Tell us about where and when this was taken. I took this photo outside my sister’s house in Montana.  We were leaving …

The Adventures of Bianca the Intern

Mountains loom over the lake, yet the sky looms over the mountains. The branches of the trees are not swaying in the wind, yet the clouds appear motionless. A connection to nature and sense of movement can be felt in these photos by our spring intern Bianca. We gave Bianca the chance to write about her crazy travels in Alaska and Hawaii and why she chose to Fracture these photos. We took a boat tour (in the Glacier Bay Basin, if …
