Exploring San Francisco Through The Lens Of Photographer Daniel Gorostieta
Daniel Gorostieta
Hey there! Daniel here, an outdoor and commercial shutterbug from San Francisco, California. Since moving here in 2012, I’ve been captivated by the city’s charm. San Francisco is where I first held a camera and got hooked on capturing nature’s beauty and stunning landscapes. Now, I shoot full-time as a freelance photographer, collaborating with brands and companies to share their stories in the wild world.
To me, San Francisco is one of the greatest cities in the world. It’s surrounded by unmatched scenery in all directions, boasts unique architecture, serves up world-class food, and has great people and culture. It will always be home to me. Included here are some of my favorite places to photograph in the city and amazing places just a short drive outside of it. Enjoy!
Baker Beach is one of the many picturesque beaches in the city. An evening sunset brings out the deep blue of the ocean and the deep red of this iconic bridge. Red lanterns fill the streets in Chinatown, one of San Francisco’s most iconic neighborhoods. East Beach is one of the most iconic places to view the Golden Gate Bridge and easily accessible by car or on foot. Here, a zoom lens captures a boat coming into the San Francisco Bay. Located between the Golden Gate Bridge and Pacifica, Fort Funston is a beach-lovers paradise. Sit on the beach-side cliffs for a gorgeous view or walk down the stairs and enjoy sunset strolls on the sand. A flock of birds rises above the Golden Gate Bridge.
