Why You Should Scan Your Diploma (and Print it On Glass)

You’ve graduated and have finally received your diploma in the mail. But now what? Should you put it away and let it collect dust forever? Well, of course not, but then again, you need to keep this thing safe. You worked years of your life for this thing! And it will open up career options for you that have never before been options. It is technically replaceable but that’s usually a hassle, and then it will always be a replacement …

Fracture Stories: UF College of Dentistry

The University of Florida College of Dentistry let us Fracture the Office of the Dean.  We printed around 50 Fractures for them, with photos ranging from pictures of students and faculty, to some macro shots of the cool bacteria found in your mouth.  (Flossing is crucial!) Their conference room is surrounded by Fractures.  They are all black and white, matching the rest of the furniture in the room, and helping to create a really elegant feeling space. Fracture is perfect …

Fracture Stories: CYM Coffee Co.

Change Your Mind Coffee Co. is a great coffee house in Gainesville (and we do mean “house”), where one can get into a “cymplified state of mind.” CYM Coffee Co. is one of the many local businesses that agree Fractures make for some great decor! They even went out of their way to give us a little plug on their wall, next to the Fractures they have on display: It is always worthwhile to explore new methods of presentation, and …

Fracture Stories: UF Health Family Medicine at Main

Medical AND photography skills… now that’s a serious double-threat! Some of the Fractures were placed inside wooden frames (just the wood, no extra glass!), giving the Fractures a classic look. Who wouldn’t …

Fracture Stories: New Scooters 4 Less

New Scooters 4 Less (NS4L) is THE place to go buy or rent a scooter in Gainesville.  They actually used to occupy the old Fracture space before we moved in (funny coincidence).  They are another example of a group of young people working hard to achieve their dreams (sappy, but true). NS4L was one of the first to come to us and ask about a multi-piece sign.  We jumped at the opportunity, and took their Vespa dealer logo and broke …

Fracture Stories: Causseaux, Hewett, & Walpole, Inc.

Causseaux, Hewett, & Walpole, Inc. is a civil engineering, land surveying, land planning, construction engineering and inspection firm in Gainesville. They also do interior decorating, and this one-of-a-kind Fracture display is evidence of that. You can see that the folks at CHW decided to mount their Fractures with floating brackets at various lengths, providing an added element of depth and creativity to their display. Here, Gerry is explaining to James just how they pulled off this display. Fracture is perfect for …
